Joy in Repentance

Time at Reign Down was very encouraging, and personally humbling, and freeing. I was so thankful for the humility and sincerity of the Senator who got on his knees and prayed, among other things, for the U.S. to be a country that would be a nation right in God's sight for our young people sake. On a personal note, after abruptly joining a group, I proceeded to get irritated when pulled aside from going up front to worship. When the time came for personal repentance I found myself speaking out about unforgiveness, was convicted, albeit unclear of the specifics, and found myself humbly proceeding to the prayer tents at the back. On the way I met someone who spoke the name of the former boss I needed to forgive. The prayer team assisted me in heartfelt prayers as we joined together in desiring true repentance. Through the love and words of one woman the Lord let me know just how much He loved me. The remaining time as I very slowly proceeded back to my group was just a phenomenal time of surrender, whole hearted prayer and worship and a great time to magnify and thank the Lord for His help, forgiveness and joy in the freedom and new level of humility He gave me.
